Product Description

HIGH SECURITY 'CHIP KEY' - By now, most people know their vehicle's high-tech keys are expensive at the car dealers- Now, you can get high-tech keys from us at a fraction of the cost. How does the high-tech key work? The key contains a tiny embedded electronic chip called a transponder. Each transponder has its own unique code--it's the key's 'fingerprint'. When the key is inserted into the ignition and turned, the transponder is energized and broadcasts its unique code to the car's receiver in the dashboard. If the car's receiver recognizes the code, it will allow the car to start.

5Great value
By Robert W. Moore
Was able to get a locksmith to program and cut this key to use as a master key for my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. It cost me less that $100 to get it programmed and cut when the dealer wanted $250.

5Worked for me!
By steven marquez
Bought this key to replace my lost key for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma. Took it to dealer to have them cut and program it. Key had to be recut twice by the dealer as the first time it didn't fit easily in the ignition or door. The guy cutting the key noticed that it was not an authentic Toyota key which has a small circular mark near the the top of the key near the plastic part. Thankfully another guy from Toyota said it should still work so after the 2nd cut it worked in opening the door and turning on the ignition. The dealer then programmed it and it has been working great! Dealer was charging $58 for the key and $50 to program it. Saved me some $$ would definitely purchase again.
