viper alarm

Installed easily on my viper alarm just snaps in the adhesive on the cover wasn't that good but this led is so bright it lights up the whole car helps me sleep better at night so I recommend for any dei alarm

Super Blue LED is a Great Addition

I bought a Vier 5902 remote start alarm system and installed it in my wife's SUV. Great alarm but the status LED is very small and is built into the "command center" antenna/valet switch unit which I mounted above the inside rear view mirror for best reception/transmission and to keep it out of the way and looking clean. The LED isn't very visible up there so I decided to add a secondary LED so as to deter would be thieves from breaking in. I bought this DEI blue LED and wired in in parallel with the one from the command center led (had to splice into the command center wires) and mounted it on the center console by the cigarette lighter/power outlet in one of the stock blanking plates. It worked awesome! The two LEDs blink at the same time and this thing is like a strobe light, it lights up the entire front of the car at night which I love because it lets people know the car is protected by an alarm and to move on to an easier target. Much brighter than the LED that came with the alarm. You can wire one extra LED for a total of two (the one the came with the system and one like the one in this review) to a DEI LED output on most any DEI (directed electronics like python, clifford, viper, ...) alarm.
