Product Description

HIGH SECURITY 'CHIP KEY' - By now, most people know their vehicle's high-tech keys are expensive at the car dealers- Now, you can get high-tech keys from us at a fraction of the cost. How does the high-tech key work? The key contains a tiny embedded electronic chip called a transponder. Each transponder has its own unique code--it's the key's 'fingerprint'. When the key is inserted into the ignition and turned, the transponder is energized and broadcasts its unique code to the car's receiver in the dashboard. If the car's receiver recognizes the code, it will allow the car to start.

4Work's Fine
By Bravo Romeo
When I received the blanks, I called my local Honda dealer and asked if they would be able to cut and program them for me. I was told that they would not able to mill any keys for me until they were official Honda keys. He said that the last time they used non-standard blanks on their machine, it got damaged. They wanted to charge me $35 each for official Honda keys and $100 to program them. I said no thanks.
A car salesman friend of mine referred me to his locksmith. The locksmith drove out to my car and looked at the keys. He acted like it wasn't going to work, but milled them for me anyway. He then programed them and they both worked fine!!!! He acted like he was surprised that it worked and only charged me $40.
All's well that end's well!!!
