I read reviews before I purchased my key. I recieved exactly what was displayed on the website. The package I received also had directions on how to program. It took merely 5 seconds to program and no issues since I programed the key. I would buy from this company again.

Perfect replacement key

This key, although lacking the GMC logo, was a perfect replacement. The dealer wanted $100 for a key and programming, but I programmed this key my self. This only works if you have at least one working key already. If you have no other working keys, due to loss, damage, etc, then the dealer is the only option for programming. First I took the key to the local hardware store where they cut it to match my existing key. Put the working key, the already programmed one, in the ignition and turn it to the on position, but not far enough for it to start. Wait for all the dash lights to turn off, about 10 to 15 seconds. Turn the key off, pull it out and immediately put the new key in, turning it back to the on position, but again not to the start position. The dash lights will turn on then off again. Wait about 15 seconds then turn the key off, pull it out then put it back in. The key is programmed by this point and the car should start using the new key. This worked the first ti me I tried and I'm glad I didn't need to go to the dealer.
